SAFEWATER 2025 GLOBAL GRANT DRAW WINNER: Rh. Jeli, Lubok Payan

FAST-TRACKING WATER SECURITY: Rh. Jeli, Lubok Payan, a remote community deep in the jungles of Lubok Antu, now has a sustainable future. Situated along the Lemanak River and accessible only by longboat from the Batang Ai Dam Jetty, this village faced significant water security challenges—until September 14, 2025. HIGH IMPACT, MINIMAL LOGISTICS: As the winner of the SAFEWATER 2025 Global Grant Draw, Rh. Jeli received two SiMPLE Water Filtration Systems. Despite the extreme isolation, the deployment proved that "Clean Water Made Easy" is more than a tagline. RAPID DEPLOYMENT: Led by Mr. Sii Hie Ing, the installation was completed by volunteers in under one hour. ZERO INFRASTRUCTURE: No heavy machinery or complex engineering required; a true Micro-Utility solution for the last mile. WHO-COMPLIANT CLEAN WATER: Immediate access to potable water that meets World Health Organisation standards. ADVANCING RURAL COMMUNITIES: By bypassing the need for traditional, high-cost piped infrastructure, Safewater Asia is safeguarding the health and longevity of Rh. Jeli for years to come. This project serves as a "world-class" model for NGOs seeking results-oriented, fiscally precise solutions for remote water security.
